I have installed Avid but can't open it due to: Essential Resource Not Available

I've googled this issue and all the answers say to uncheck the NDI options upon installation but I don't have that option on the MacBook installation process. I tried to uninstall just the NDI in the Avid Uninstaller but that deletes the actual application all together. Anyone know how to trouble shoot this?
