    Import png with Big Sur

I got a new system with Big Sur and the slowdowns are making life difficult.

Trying to import PNG files from photoshop into a project, mainly because for some strange reason, my system stuggles with Titler+ (PLEASE BRING BACK TITLE TOOL FOR 64 BIT OSs!!!!!).

Newest problem, can't drag png files into a bin.  Crash.

Can't use the source browser to import.  Crash.

    Please can someone help?

Nobody's responded to this, but I guess I"ll just als ask, has 2021.6 and Big Sur completely lost all drag and drop functionality?  I can't seem to drag PNGs, JPGs, MP3s, or any audio file for that matter.

Re: Import png with Big Sur

In the absence of any replies, I've managed to figure out the source of this problem (and many others I was having) and thought I would post here for anyone's benefit.

With Big Sur, apparently you have to go into Sys prefs>Security and Privacy>Full Disk Access and check Avid Media Composer.

If you don't do this a lot of error messages and bugs happen without explanation.

So I'm getting through the inevitable pain of upgrading.

Still don't understand why they don't just make a title tool that works with 64 bit.

Good info.  Thank you for posting as I am about to receive a iMac refurb which may have Big Sur.  You may have saved me some pain.
