Could you please tell me which export setting should I use for HD material to film out at Avid DS version 10. It seems "ITU 601-709 "setting the blacks is not strong enough AND in "legacy graphic" the colors seem to be incorrect. please helpi Susan

running x64 nitris 8400, the ds can only output 8 channels at a time right? so what would be the best way to output 9? is the only way to do basically 2 passes - 1 with 8 channels audio and then a second with the 9th channel or something similar? any feedback much appreciated. thanks so much adam

working on a 64 bit nitris 8.4 . When i recapture any quicktime files in a certain project its uses the setting "center, keep original size" no matter what. If i change it to scale to fit and try to recapture it still centers it and keeps it the original size. im guessing its somehow remembering...

Whats the best way to defrag? is there a special program to use or should i just use the windows defragger? We havent defragmented our system in forever.

We have Avid DS NItris 7.5 over HP XW8200. We want change the Workstation. is it posible? Is other harware compatibility like DELL 7400 workstation? Or only works on HP workatations. thanks.The Nitris boards are PCI133.
