  • Exporting DNxHD 60fps quicktimes

Hi, I'm trying to export a quicktime (.mov) of DNxHD 60fps 1080p and am having trouble with the codec settings. If I export as a quicktime, under resolutions I only get up to 1080i/59.94 220 10-bit. I can set the frame rate to 60 fps but the compressor resolutions don't change. I'm unable...

  • Importing Slow Motion from Canon 7D into MC 5.5.5

I am trying to get footage I shot at 59.94 on a Canon 7D to playback in smooth slow motion at 23.98 in my MC 5.5.5 project. I recently upgraded from 5.5.3 where I was able to achieve this by creating two separate projects, one at 59.94 and the other at 23.98. I would import the 7D footage into the 59...

  • Re: Ignore QT rate not creating slow motion

Thanks for testing that, Tomas. Between that bug fix and the 310.90 Nvidia driver being qualified the patch sounds like it's worth the download. And to your point Pat, wouldn't it be nice if a 3rd party plug-in wasn't necessary just to dump the audio :-)

  • 60fps on FS100 into MC...how do u do that?!

Hope this is the right forum. We shot in 60fps for a true slow motion look for some scenes. We shot on a FS100. Little did we know that the FS100 has a switch to shoot in 60fos that would makes it easy to import into AVID and the like. So we are having trouble importing it. Avid keeps saying file type...

  • 60 fps back to 24 fps to play regular speed

I shot footage on a Canon 60D at 60 fps. I've decided that I'd like one particular clip to play back at normal speed (23.97fps). I ran all my footage through cinema tools to acheive the slow motion look. I still have the original raw files. My project is 23.97. I've linked the original clip...

I have a ton of tape less footage that just came in shot at 59.94 some slow motion some 24fps and some 29.97 We do all our projects in 30i NTSC my question is regarding linking to AMA then transcoding. It usually works fine but the slow motion 59.94 clips I'm importing...

  • Importing Canon 7D footage shot at 60fps and make it play in "slow mo"

Hi all, I am having a bit of a problem. I shot some footage at 60fps, and the source videos plays fast, and my goal is to bring it into Avid and let it play in the smooth slow motion effect. I have had no luck yet. Any pointers?

  • 60P and 23.976P

I am working on a 720P/23.976 project. Some of my footage was shot 60 fps varicam with 24 frame flags. I have digitized my footage and the clips playback at 23.976 in slo-mo. Anyone know what percentage these clips need to run at to be real time again? My math keeps saying 250 (60fps) but these clips...
