  • Re: MC5 I/O Device?

OK. Keep in the loop by sending me the announcement link. Any suggestions of where to start in order to become FCC compliant for closed captioning? Chris

  • MC5 I/O Device?

Over a year ago I moved from liquid to MC5. I don't like the I/O device I have now (Canopus) and want to know what I/O device I need to make MC5 work correctly/ faster? We also need to start adding closed-captioning to our weekly one-hour church broadcast and understand the right I/O device enhances this performance, too. Thanks! Chris

Trying to absorb all of this. I appreciate your patience. I'm not sure how to tell if my monitor is interlaced or not. I have an acer AL2416W that I am running VGA into. I could not find any specs regarding interlacing on this monitor. http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/monitor/0000/Acer/AL2416/AL2416sp2.shtml I've enlarged the photos on the

Project Type 30i/ NTSC 4:3 Don't know if my monitor is interlaced, but I'm not sure that matters since it looks great in Marquee. At the bottom of this site page are some photos. The 1st is from Marquee...the 2nd from MC. The video clip is also a good representation of what I am seeing. The Marquee graphics just POPS out. http://www.valdostafirstumc

  • Poor Marquee Quality

When working with Marquee Titling the graphic quality is superb. When it hits the timeline the quality is poor. My video quality for the timeline is set at the "all green" level. The output quality is also poor. What setting am I missing? Are there other titling tools besides Marque and Title Tool? Thanks! Chris Valdosta, GA

  • Re: Live Capture via BOB

Wow! It seems that Avid would make the liquid Pro BOB work for those who were converted to MC because of the "End of Life" of Liquid. Would this work. I need to convert an svideo signal from my SE500 switcher to firewire. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815255020 Thanks, Chris

  • Re: Live Capture via BOB

Larry, Thanks for the response. Just started using MC this week - NEWBIE! My biggest concern is not being able to view the live capture in one of the viewers - haven't been able to figure that out. In Liquid, I could control the inputs on the BOB for the live feed. We currently use the Y/C input on the BOB along with the audio inputs. Is there a
