  • Eucon_18_3_0_244 Crashes Media Composer 2018.4.0

I briefly got this to work, but most of the time if the Eucon driver is running, Media Composer won't start. Just the beach ball. I force quit. Quiting Eucon doesn't always help. And many times when Media Composer starts up, I get the licensing splash screen to license by my dongle. These crashes happen regardless of having hardware attached

ACK! JOB! That was it. You nailed it! I knew there was audio mute button on the Timeline, but never thought about a video output button. And when that is activated, the Tools / Video Output Tool selection is no longer greyed out. Thanks for all the responses.

I tried every output setting per your suggestion. The monitor screen displays a graphic of the new frame size / speed every time it changes. No go. I've installed BM drivers from 10.9.5 through 10.11.2 (yes, you said don't install .3). I've also installed AMC versions back to 8.5.1. Replaced the HDMI cable and Thunderbolt cable. The kicker

Just tried that, with no success. I did try the 10.11.3 driver. It crashed AMC on the splash screen three straight times, so I removed and AMC started up fine. Then I installed 10.11.2 and it started up. But no video. Audio plays through the HDMI cable. Thanks for the responses.

The Macbook see it, when I look into System Report / Thunderbolt. The BM control panel is in the System Preferences, and opens its own window where you can configure the output. Interestingly, when I plugged the device in this morning a message came on screen, something like 'device needs to update software'. Five minutes later, a progress bar

  • BM Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt

I'm not successful getting video from my laptop through my new Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt to my monitor. Avid Media Composer 2018.10 beta macOS 10.12.6 Macbook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, mid 2014), 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB DDR3 I've tried several BM drivers including Blackmagic_Desktop_Video_Macintosh_10.9.7 - Avid gave an error

  • Re: Media Composer v8.3.1 | NOW AVAILABLE

Great idea, which worked. And how dumb am I to forget about the download center. Seems rather a cheat, though, to avoid AppMan. Thanks for the response!

  • Re: Media Composer v8.3.1 | NOW AVAILABLE

I'm unable to download the AppMan or AMC 8.3.1. When I choose 'Update' in AppMan I first get an error message 'Failed Download....'. 'Update' again and it says 'Downloading'. But the percentage stays at 0, and the progress bar doesn't move. Same when I try to download AMC. Tried it on two different days. Is the

  • 8.2 does not have D-Verb for Stereo tracks

I reported this in the 8.2 beta at least a month ago, and it has never been fixed. 8.3 beta does have it fixed. Other AudioSuite plugins are missing for stereo in 8.2 as well, but D-Verb is the most important. I would try to report this through a service contract, but have no idea how to and the site is too impenetrable to find where to report. So if

  • Match Back in Group Clip error

I have a group clip in a timeline, V1. Above it is another piece of media, in this case a mixdown of a timecode burn in with a luma key. On several clips when using Match Frame, the incorrect camera comes up as the match frame. Correct TC, but wrong angle. Camera A is in the timeline, but the match frame pulls up camera B. Removing the media from above
