  • Re: Scoreboard clock integrated into Deko 3000

Just looked at Fair Play on line - looks like they are mostly for in house scoreboard displays. I would contact them as well to see if there is a way to parse out their data to either ODBC or .txt files and then link Deko layers to those. If you get any information from either company please feel free to share it here on the Forum.

If you can get the data from the scoreboard into any ODBC database you can connect to it that way using Deko layer database connection. I have not used this protocol, but Daktronics should be able to provide info to get the data to some type of summary database. There is also a Daktronics Character Generator Interface (DCGI) that can be purchased from

  • Re: Sequencing AUT files in a loop in DEKO 3000

All graphics running in a sequence, or with any effect or motion, play from Preview to Program. I am not sure if Ross Overdrive can specify which channel of a Deko to play out to. If it cannot it likely defaults to Channel A. Using our Command workflow we can use both channels. and have the graphics that are scheduled to run on Channel A (in command

In the standard layout the Style menu is on the left. If you do not see it, click on the View pulldown menu, choose Style. There are 4 tabs on the Style menu. Choose Look. At the top is a list of Details. Leave the Face, delete any others using the Delete tab Be sure the Face is not hidden or blurred

Check to be sure you do not have a border or shadow on the Deko layer by looking at the Details in the Look tab (View > Style, Look tab – Details) If not, the problem is in the original graphic. Try to create a new graphic in the same way and see if it is giving you the border. If so, please email me directly and I will send you a known good

  • Re: Who is working with Dekocast?

DekoCast can use many file types for clips ( .m2v, .mov, .mxf, .avi, .dif, .tmf, and .vbs.) by using the Transcoder application. It will create DC compatible .mxf files. You can also set it up to watch a certain folder and automatically transcode when a new file is copied to the watch folder. You can find more info starting at page 149 in the User’s

  • Re: Who is working with Dekocast?

The latest version of DekoCast is 4.3. It includes 720p/50 workflow and Charts & Graphs. Version 4.2.x and 4.1.x had numerous additional features as well. So, depending on what version you are currently running, there may be more things you could use with an upgrade. Though DekoCast is not like Deko, it is not at all painful once you have had training

Hi Thomas, Yes, you can create a Deko Sequence with the .aut files. A Sequence can run on a continuous loop. For details on creating a sequence refer to the Users Guide, page 504. If you need more assistance post other questions or contact me directly. http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/attach/Deko_Users_Guide_v5.3.1.pdf
