If you want the clip to continue playing do not Clear Program. Simply read the next graphic to Preview, then either Swap or Play (if you have a motion or effect). The clip will continue playing and the next graphic will go to Program. If the graphics have different clip backgrounds then you must put a motion or effect on the graphics. When you do so

You must install the QuickTime Player on the Deko before you can import .mov files. Once you have done that you will see the .mov file type as a selection when you import.

The error message is a Deko message, not a Windows one. I do not know what the message means however. I am not sure if the Deko2000 is still supported, but if you have a support contract you should contact Customer Support. If not, the only option I see is reinstalling the software. Add a dissolve effect or a simple motion to fade out/in each graphic. For info on creating effects see the User Guide Chapters 10 & 11. Then associate that efx or motion to the template (UG pg 409)

Power clips play on as part of a motion. The motion will then end in a pause. There is no fade out for a power clip, unless you Escape or Stop the motion, then play another graphic on (it can be a blank). Best method is to key the Deko channel out on the switcher, then reset to your next graphic.

The latest version for Deko1000 is 5.2. If you need to download and install it log on to the download center at: http://esd.avid.com/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fDefault.aspx Navigate to Deko1000 and you will see the 5.2 download at the top.
