  • Re: Clock Stops In Deko 3000

A really ugly way to get a clock to continually run is to record it as a clip and playback and motion the clip. Remember if it is to be keyed over something that your playback settings would need to be modified. This is not a good way but I have used it in the past to resolve the issue. Just remember to plan ahead. Bill

  • Re: DekoCast Sports Ticker

I am not totally familiar with all the intricacies of DekoCast but I believe you could run a macro on your page that would look for your status to go final then proceed to highlight winning team. However I am not exactly sure of process you are using when pulling pages for your ticker. I know that with the older versions of FXDeko containing objex this

  • Re: dual safe titles

One way that this can be accomplished is through creating a 10%/20% deko page which can be read into the background. However it is important to remember to not have this displayed when saving graphics. It is not a very efficient method but it will give you the desired effect. Also a macro would need to be written that could be run to turn off background

  • Re: clips for FXDeko II from After Effects

Another way you might want to try adds one more step but it is how I am actually getting clips from various sources (i.e. frost, flame, smoke, after effects, etc.) Export clip as a mov file from original source. Then I import into QuickTime Pro and export as DV format. I realize this adds one more step but I also know that this works flawlessly for

  • Re: Starting place to improve TitleDeko Pro

Bob, I am not as familiar as I probably should be with TitleDeko Pro but one thing I would check for on your graphics is whether or not you are saving using bitmaps. On FXDeko II if this is checked it will refer to the bitmap and sometimes not update your graphics. In other words if you have that option on your save uncheck the option to save with bitmap

  • Re: Load Clip - Deko 3000

Sorry this took me awhile to respond to but I had to remember the command. In your sequence before you run the next page with clip attached try entering the command clip lose. As long as there is nothing of the clip left viewable it should clear the clip channel and prepare it for use with the next event. I know this works with FXDeko II ver. 3.0.5
