• Re: FrameFlex in multicam mode
unfortunately
Agreed. Multicam/Group Clips with save-able-to-bin, per-camera angle, per-Timeline clip, "3D warp-style" effects. That's the ticket.

  • Re: Flipping images in groups

Hi, I tried what you described on a pair of 16 second subclips from flipped, linked clips that I transcoded then Grouped... the baked-in transcoded flips remained flipped after grouping them. This was on 2018.12 on PC. Maybe try it again? Good luck.

  • Re: FrameFlex in multicam mode

.Just tried it again: on v2018.12, Rotate at any angle is not propagating into a Group Clip used in a Sequence. A simple Zoom-In did work. The OP is correct, I would say. this was on transcoded Media, and also on Linked clips used in the Group. Also tried making a new Group Clip incorporating a camera master clip (linked) that was Rotated. Only the

With your 90 degree-off footage, are you aware you can or have you tried Transcoding the (presumably MP4) with the FrameFlex coorection baked-in? Just curious, how many individual camera sources are used in your GroupClips?

  • Re: MC2019 Importing multiple png sequences from multiple folders

Take a look at this program. It can certainly Find your PNGs and possibly keep track of original Folders after you've copied the search results to a few less Folders. Just a suggestion. https://www.jam-software.com/ultrasearch/features.shtml

  • Re: Inconvenience.

I think it's a good request, especially if it worked better in prior versions. I'm using a Single 27" on v2018, currently. What I do is make use of Workspaces, mapped to keys and icons. They tend to be variations on my main, all-purpose Source/Record Editing Workspace. I just made a "BS" Workspace after having opened up the Source

  • Re: Play it again, Sam
Hold ALT, press 'Play In to Out' (you may need to map it from the Command Palette).
I do use that key-combo successfully, outside of CC mode, all the time. I wasn't successful (on PC), recently but if you say it does work, I'll take that to the bank, round up the usual suspects, and try

  • Play it again, Sam

I want to "loop play" from a Mark-In on some clip before and a Mark-Out on some clip after, what's in the Center (Current) monitor. Can this be done, and if not, why not?

  • Re: Insert Edit Export - Real world reviews?

Thanks for your reply and ever sage advice, Trevor. I've been staring at my question like a goat and I have no clue what it was driving at. Lol. I do like the phrase "Power Relink", though.

As Tom Stoppard once said, "Digital's days are numbered." Reading the OP's original ask, I thought about using a PiP of an egg-timer, along with Fit to Fill. No typing, just back-timing... https://www.pond5.com/stock-footage/item/77140058-egg-timer-running-down-closeup-timelapse
