• Re: Just purchased AJA io4k - sync issues

Thanks for the tips, I'm using the AM210. It's set to fast but not interlace. I don't have the delay with the Blackmagic Ultrastudio Mini, so I feel like the AJA was introducing the delay. 2017 MPB OS 10.12.6 MC 8.9.3 AJA 14.0.1 Firmware I don't remember - I tried 3 different versions. The one it came with (4K), the UFC firmware, and then the updated 4K firmware. It sounds like for you it worked right out of the box?

  • Just purchased AJA io4k - sync issues

I am using the sdi monitor out on the Aja to drive a Flanders Scientific monitor. In both Premiere and Avid there is a noticable lag compared to the computer monitor, which is super annoying. I've seen a couple of threads about this issuse but they were from years ago. I was using a blackmagic studio-mini before and that worked just fine. The reason

  • C300 Mk II Footage in MC 8.3.1

Can I AMA this footage or do I need to transcode first? I have the Canon XF PLUGIN 64 for AMA 2.0.3 installed, which is really old but for some reason verson 3.0 of the plugin says that I need Media Composer 8.4...I think MC 8.4 was a pretty substantial upgrade so maybe that makes sense. I can AMA link C300 mk I footage ok but it refuses to see the

MY source is a DVD though, so that's why I mentioned that.
There shouldn't be any field info if it came from film which nhas to be progressive.
• Correcting Bad Film Transfer

I have an old film that was transferred to DVD. I don't know what they did, but they seem to have transferred many duplicated frames and blurry combined frames. The framerate of the dvd is 29.97 but I can't see any interlacing artifacts so I think the field info is lost. Fortunately, it seems like all of the original frames are still there,
