Yes. It´s the same way you can change the size of your timeline tracks: STRG+K and STRG+L (after you marked one of your thumbnails) HTH pixel

[quote user="EyeBee"] Actually, if your misplaced mxf files are in c:\Avid MediaFiles\MXF\1 then I think you can do the following: Rename the above folder to: c:\Avid MediaFiles\MXF\2 Copy the whole folder ( including the msmFMID.pmr and msmMMOB.mdb files ) to the d:\Avid MediaFiles\MXF folder. You should now have a folder called '1'

  • Re: Oops, Avid MediaFiles in two places...

Both things are quite simple to resolve: 1. There is no path to set to "Avid MediaFiles". You can set the place where media files will be written in - your Media Creation Setting -> select here you´re D: drive and hit "Apply to all". THis means that rendering, importing, titles, motion effects will go theoretically all to

Ok, I must recognize that I dont know, how good the downconvert quality is for Mojo/Nitris DX. My experience is limited to Adrenaline. The downconvert wasnt far so good as the AE downconvert. Anyway, Avid hardware is made for best results in EDITING, the Alchemist is made for best results in CONVERTING (any SD/HD/PAL/NTSC/any framerate or whatever)

  • Re: hd to sd

First of all: don´t use Avid for this job. HD-SD-downconvert by Avid is only "for looking" not "for broadcast". The best result you will get with an hardware converter. Best one is ALCHEMIST from Snell & Vilcox - little problem: the pricing - 250.000 $ Another way, if conversion time doesnt matter is making the downconvert

  • Re: lost bin issue

You should not try to IMPORT them. You can bring back media files through the Media Tool. Let it show your clips and drag and drop them back to a new bin. You cannot bring back in this way any sequences. They will be lost forever if you have lost your original bins. pixel

  • Re: Make DVD video for 16x9 and 4x3?

The official way: Make only one movie, make it in Squezze at 16:9. Normaly, a DVD player should be setted to the ratio from the TV attached at. So, on a 4:3 TV, if the DVD player is corretly setted to 4:3, your 16:9 movie will appear letterboxed by your player. The safe way: AndrewActions way HTH pixel
