  • Discussion: using interlaced vs progressive graphics in 1920x1080i

There is a lot of discussion on the internet when it comes to when to use an interlaced or progressive graphic file. It would be helpful if someone can provide 3 simple interlaced vs progressive tables, for the most common graphic file formats: TIFF JPEG PNG The layout of that table will be something like this: VIDEO FORMAT PROGRESSIVE INTERLACED EXPLANATION

  • Re: consolidation error

Had same error. 52 min programm HD 185 X, transcoded and mixdowned video and audio tracks but had a rendered rolling creditlist as a segment at the end of my timeline. Removed it and the problem was gone. I think it's the title media which caused thememory problem.

  • mixed hdv and xdcam ex best transcode settings

Hello, We migrated from the sony z1 to the sony Ex3 so now I work with some projects in two resolutions. What is the best solution? If the most of the material is shot in the HDV format (1080i50), to which format should I transcode the xdcam EX footage(1080p25)? And vice versa? Which settings should I use fot transcoding? Any help is very very welcome
