• Re: Export a Group?
Yet another reason why I don't use multi-cam splits.. I PIP everything I do including each clip's audio so I can "see it all" and "have my cake and eat it too" and and and, but additionally, if you export from your sequence with the PIPs, you'll have your corner'd windows.[/quote

  • Re: Help! Transcoded Canon files look blue?
I just spent the entire day transcoding two folders full of footage. One day's footage turned out fine, the other, for no reason I can tell, turned out blue. Bright blue. I didn't put any color adapters on, and when I check the source settings, there don't seem to be any effects, but every single

  • Re: Canon XC15 import
I'm running some quick 4K tests with the Canon XC15 and I don't think I'm setting my project setting correctly. I get the little green Frameflex icon on all of the settings I have tried. If you're using the XC15 successfully, could you please let me know what project settings you are using? I shot
After the update, I have trouble to open the old project. it kept giving me this error messages on both reord and source window: "SFPlayConsumer::Execute TIMEOUT".
More info needed. You don't say what kind of media you are using? At a glance I'd suspect a missing plugin or the wrong plug in

  • Re: Relink AAF Audio channel duplicated

At a guess it is something to do with multichannel audio. By default PP uses stereo tracks. You might have better luck if you modify the audio channels in PP to be dual channel mono. In PP you can only do this before you put it on the timeline so even if it does fix the issue it won't help with already edited material. In PP - right click on the

  • Re: Replace Footage

There are two methods. One would be to link and then "hide" the original clips and link to the new ones. (Exit Avid, move the original clips to an archive directory, relaunch Avid and link the new clips) If they have the same name, same timecode, same length and are basically identical to the original this should work. However I have had problems

  • Re: share 1 gigabit connection with 2 workstations?
brilliant! Thanks! EDIT: are you sure here? Everywhere I read they say that gigabit is not possible to split? (uses all 4 pairs)
Are you planning on using both workstations at the same time? I think it will lead to lots of issues with traffic congestion but you best bet is a small gigabit switch. Hopefully you've
