Hi guys, has there been a fix for this? Currently working on 2018.5 and the problem still seems to be there in this version. Many thanks, Ollie

I tried all configurations, it was marginly better going to a different drive. Just had the second drive delivered from the shoot and it's flying in now, realtime! Identical model of drive, so either a duff port or drive. Thank god for that.

Well I took the plunge, it's almost double the speed, a great improvement! But still very slow, on half quality a 30" clip takes about 2'30.

Hi all, Apologies if this has been covered before but am wondering how much the MC version bears on the transcode speed, in this case of ProRes 4444 .movs. I'm running 7.06. on an old i7 homebuild with 8GB ram, rushes are only on USB3, a far from an optimal configuration, but it works fine usually. However I'm getting very slow transcoding on

Ok thanks Pat, will try that then.

Hi all, I have an old system running MC 7.0.6 and Decklink card I'd like to add to it. Is there a particular Blackmagic driver I should use? I had issues in the past so stopped using the card on this machine but it was a while ago. I did have a look for a version matrix for this but couldn't see one. Many thanks, Ollie

Great thanks guys! Exactly what I need to know.

Hi guys, I'm sure this is on the site somewhere but can't find what the last supported version of Media Composer is for xw8600 with Mojo SDI, or even software only on the xw8600. Did it ever get up to supporting 7.x? Cheers! Ollie

Pan and Zoom used to be a superb tool pre version 6, a great alternative to real rostrum. However, the effect was 'updated' for MC6, and by MC7 had begun to be frustratingly tiresome to use. Whereas with MC 5.x you could quickly create lovely moves on photos, eased in and out, with just a few clicks, now the best I can do is what I call 'drunk

Thank you Pat, all useful thoughts. If I'm on a z800 or z820 do I have a chance to have realtime playback of the r3ds? In green/yellow at least.
