  • Re: Artist Color and Resolve

How is the panel connected to your computer? If it is a direct ether net cable between the panel and computer you need a crossover ethernet cable. If going through a ethernet hub a standard ethernet cable is required. Just because the computer sees there is an ethernet connection is does not follow that the connection is correct for data flow. Is your

Look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Edit Geek\Templater\Templater.exe. If it is not there search for templater.exe Alayne Add. I think Version 2 is the newest version. It is the one that I have. Easy to use. Make a new Project. Lay it out as you want the template to be. You can use an existing project however you may then have to deal with the media in the

  • Re: is this possible to relink?

Make an AAF without media of your timeline. Send this AAF back to them. When they open this in the Resolve project they used to create the DNx120 media they can easily relink this AAF to the original 4K media. This may not work if you made subclips and edited with those.

  • Re: is this possible to relink?

Export an AAF without media. Import this AAF into the Resolve Project you created the the DNxHD media in. Resolve should immediately relink to the original 4K media. Use Resolves Deliver page to render the timelin out toyour desired resolution format movie. Or use Resolves Avid Deliver template to make an AAF with individual clips and media handles

  • Re: exporting old meridian encoded SD clips

Are they OMF or MXF files? In either case why not us MDV (make a donation) software to identify the files then Move or copy those files into a new OMFI MediaFiles folder (at root level of your new backup drive) Or into a new number only named folder in a Avid MediaFiles\MXF\ folder at the root level of your backup drive. Open a new SD Avid Project and

  • Re: eliminate interlace

i would suggest going a different path. Open a SD project and open the SD footage there. If your HD footage is progressive then change that project to interlace. Open the bin from your SD project with your SD footage from the HD interlace project. Scale as required (3D Warp). IMO Progessive playback looks good during interlace project playback so get
