  • Re: Live capture on set using capture tool and Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder

bump Thanks Robert! Yes I've been thinking about AMA, but I don't think it's going to cope with all the multi-layered nested fx I'll have to do for this job. A good backup though. Has anyone successfully used Capture Tool & Blackmagic? Should be possible right? Blackmagic appears 'greyed out' in my video source menu (audio

  • Live capture on set using capture tool and Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder

Has anyone done this? I have a fast-approaching shoot where I need to live-record an SDI feed out of video village and cut temp rushes so the director can see immediately if his fx shots are working etc. The production has previously used the UltraStudio Mini Recorder into Blackmagic Media Express and recorded ProRes, which can be cut more or less instantaneously

  • Re: Help! Exception PMM Audio Mismatch error

Hi there, I'm getting this error whenever I try to play-trim in a timeline. I don't have any AMA media & nothing is offline. Any more tips? I've tried the usual trashing of MC State, media databases etc as suggested above. Thank You! Tom

  • Re: Can't autosync

I found I had to transcode again with the two boxes checked to reformat and transform color... file://localhost/Users/tomeagles/Desktop/Screen%20Shot%202013-09-24%20at%205.57.27%20PM.png I've never noticed this before, perhaps a new option with MC7.

Hi there, I'm getting the same error. Did you find a solution? Similar workflow: RedCode RAW > AMA > DNX36. Frame rate and sample rate are the same, I can't quite figure out where to find raster dimensions for the sequence. Any tips would be much appreciated, thanks, Tom

  • Re: AMA transcode slow

Hi guys, the image sequence issue was a bit of an aside, sorry if this caused confusion. Yes, I have a couple of image sequences, but the project is predominantly stills. I'll have a look at Picasa, thank you. Tom

  • Re: AMA transcode slow

Thanks guys, and sorry about posting in the wrong place - I'm still learning about the forums, amongst other things. I take it I can't move it myself. I seem to have come full circle with finding a workflow for a large number of large still images. AMA seemed the perfect solution for me as the reformat column allows me to 'center crop'

  • AMA transcode slow

Hello there, Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, I couldn't find it... I've got a whole bunch of still images that I've AMA-linked. I'm now trying to transcode them. However, transcode times are around fifty minutes per 30 second file. Is this normal? I've transcoded AMA from RED in the past, which took a while, but nothing

  • Re: AVID Pan&Zoom displays only black (and is driving me crazy)

I have the same issue and am still looking for answers. I've tried moving and renaming the tiff files (though they're stored locally, with pretty standard names, ie DPP_0001.tif). Also tried re-sizing, as some threads suggested there's a size limit. The colorspace is RGB. The only thing I can narrow it down to is the problem pictures are

I have the exact same issue. Also on 6.01 (trial version).
