(Uploaded by tomorrow night) and I am having problems - it is possibly an export setting problem although that is just a thought. I am working in PAL on media composer 7 with Maverick OSX system on

I’m really sorry but I need to hand over my project by AAF to another editor and Ive got to sort out the offline media issue first and wonder if you can help? Everything is online except the media which was underwater footage in a different format to the footage I usually work and the timeline and edit was working fine before when I edited it

I actually shut down the whole system, removed large files from my computer and started it. And it exported. However what your suggestion is, I am sure will be useful in future or for someone else facing a similar problem. Especially creating a new user name which I explored but didnt have to do thankfully. Thanks for being there, it was a comfort!

My apologies. MC 7 and Im on a Mac Book Pro. Mid 2012 Processor 2.6 Ghz graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB os X 10.9.5 (maverick) ALL media is on ONE external hardrive and the error has only just occured this project has had no problems exporting before. I am currently testing it again by getting still more stuff off my Mac so the memory is sufficient

I have an urgent need to get my completed film to a client and Ive tried to export twice now and it gets nearly to the end and then it says "parameter failure" - I am afraid the exact words I could not give as it went down again. I was doing colour correction and resizing images for final delivery tomorrow! And my avid media composer crashed. A large red apostrophe came up! Saying] Assertion failed Inter 1=swindowslistend 0 snapshots/relengminlion2_1445303 127/ppg/MCTop/Projectfiles/././.Mediacomposer/Media Composer/MCwindows MenuUtils.cpp Line 142 I have no idea what to do

Yes I dropped the file into a bin and it fast imported. i also downloaded a trial of editready and that worked too. However its easiest to use fast import. I had not tried that before as I could not even view them on my mac or import them the normal way (directly via File then Import) into avid. But AVID just imported them when I dropped them in a bin
