AVID DVD - Project is too large to fit on this media

I have a project that I am trying to burn to DVD.  It is about an hour and a half in length.  I have compressed the file in SS numerous times and every time when I go to burn it to a DVD it says that the file is too large.  Is says, "project size 4.8 GB target size 4.7GB."  When I look at the various compressed files that I converted in sorenson none of them are 4.8GB.  Some are as small as 650KB.  What am I doing wrong????

I found the answer to my issue.  In AVID DVD, CTRL E, change the SD Encoding Settings..

Try going direct to Avid DVD and lower the target bps incremently until it just fits, then burn.  No more guessing and you get the best possible (least) compression to make it fit.  Make sure you select the correct DVD size first.
