    The effect in new track but effecting the track below and above!!

    Hi,

    From the title, i have a new track with Resize effect and i thought that effect will only effect the track below it but now i see its also effecting the track above it!!

    Is this normal? did i choice something and i didnt notice?

    You might step in to your clip and add the filter

    Just took a closer look, when adding an effect to a filler, it will affect all the underlying tracks

    That is right, i know that, but not the track above the effect right? thats what happening to me, the effect as you can see in the picture effecting the Title as well!! wich is above the effect.

    Do a try with removing the filler and nest your resize effect to your bottom track, if you have a lot of other effects on that one, you might do a video mixdown of it and apply the resize filter to that mixdown

    Hi,

    By any chance did the track you've renamed "Title" start out life as V2 and then get moved above V3?  The behavior you're seeing plus the fact that the video monitor is on the track that is physically below the title but you still see the title in the record monitor is what's leading me to think this might be the case.

    I removed the files: MC State, Site_Settings, Site_Attributes

    And everything back to normal.
