Would turing off the lansshare on a regular basis impact the lifespan?

For sake of the environment the question came to me if it would impact the lifespan if we would turn off the lanshare during the weekends. Any opinions in this matter?

    Kind regards, Greg

If this is an older system i would recommend to keep it on all the time. Older systems can run for years if kept on but if you turn them off and let them cool down you have a big(ger) chance disks won't spin up if you turn it on again.
