    Marquee Feature Request

Marquee needs to provide an easy-to-use font browser.  Ideally it would be incorporated into a custom font-chooser dialog that has a user-settable sample string which changes to the currently highlighted font in a scrolling list or pull-down of all available fonts.  Currently, to browse for a particular face when you are searching by a "look" rather than a font name, you have to go outside the Avid environment and use some other font browsing tool.

Absolutely!  It is getting annoying having to pull out my printed "Font Book" to see all of the font styles when choosing a new one.  Having the dropdowns display the actual font like in Office would be a huge improvement.

Definitely!  But the font book is still a great way to keep a troublesome client occupied - "Here, why don't you have a quick browse through these three dense books for a font for your graphic.  It'd be a real help!"

It works for me. (If I didn't object to them on principle, there'd be a smiley here)

And let me add, why is it that the separate Text editing window supports wheel scrolling through the font list, but the one on the main window does not?  Doesn't make much sense.
