    Footage in 24playing to slow...

We had a sequence in 30p that we've converted to 24.
The new settings are set to 24p but when we play a spot that would play in 8s (for ex.) in 30p it now plays in 10s.

    Any idea?

Re: Footage in 24p playing to slow...

Let me re-phrase my posting. We had some footage that was shot in HD and down converted to 30fps. The goal was to upconvert (assemble) to online. However we discovered that the delilvery specs had changed. We now need 24p. We decided to transfer all our source tapes back to 24 and to re-digitize the footage. In the meantime we converted the original sequence that was in 30 to 24. Now that we digitize the new footage at 24 we're having difficulties matching the 'new' footage in the new sequence with the old cut. The cut seems to slowly play faster: For example an 8 seconde spot in 30, now plays in 10 secondes.... What did we do wrong, but mainly how to fix the problem.
