A new version of Avid Link 2019.5 is out today, Thursday May 30th, 2019.

ReadMe:  Can be found on the Knowledge Base and attached above.

Fixes:  The following is resolved in Avid Link 2019.5:

     -   AMPT-8708 Products Tab - Changed "No update" text to “Sign In” to Products, if the user is not

    signed in already.

     -   AMPT-8674 Corrected OS notifications that read "Chat Invite from X" text which now reads "Invite

    from X”.

     -   AMPT-8685 Messages Tab is shown when opening the 'Invite on Pro Tools project' push notification

through the desktop. This is resolved.

    Also fixed:

Profile notifications - were incorrectly opening the Home tab; Now opens Profile area properly.

    • Lounges – Added “Follow” bell for subscribing to Lounge Topics.
    • Lounges – Changed the default fault sort order to be based on Portfolio content number of “Likes”.

    Questions, let me know.

Not the end of the world... if you do not login on a 2019.3 Avid link install with 24/7 internet access it will say: 'No update'. As soon as you login... Heeeee there is an update.

Weren't the application manager and Avid link supposed to report the available updates no matter what?

From the old Apple Quadro 950 to HP Z8xx. My current own system: 1x Z420 E5 1650 16GB memory, 128GB SSD, 1x XW8600, 2x 3.0Ghz Quadcore, 12GB memory... [view my complete system specs]
