    Compatible NIC

    Hi Everyone,

     

    I have an Intel® X550-T2 10GbE NIC running on my Win 10 Dell and I am having trouble connecting to the Nexis Client.

     

    System Director - 7.9.1.16

     

    Is that card compatible?

    First, upgrade to NEXIS 18.4 right away, there's a known issue with Avid NEXIS SSD Failure Not being Reported. Really, stop reading this post and install 18.4 at least.

    Now that you're back from upgrading your NEXIS. The Avid Network and Switch Guide list the X540-T2 and X520-T2. The X550-T2 likley hasn't been tested but feel confident it would work. You should be using the latest Intel Driver and NEXIS client.What isn't working? Can you see the System Director but not Connect? Have you tried to turn off the Firewall? Do you have Antivirus? Even when disabled, some will cause the computer to not be able to connect, you might need to remove it.
