    Stacking switches question?



    Curerntly running a Force 10 S60 switch connected to multiple clients and four Avid storage chassis cosntistng of two sys dirs and two expansions chassis.


    Looking to add more clients as follows.


    New Dell S4048 connected to the four Avid chassis over 10gig

    S60 stacked to S4048 by using 4x10 gig ports on both switches.


    I would like to add in another Dell switch - How do i go about stacking/connectign this switch to the above config.


    Any suggestions

    Basically you’ll be setting up a cascade over a port channel setup across your 4 10Gbe ports. If that doesn’t sound basic you need a network engineer to help you. As you’re in London I can recommend someone, let me know if your interested.
