    relink AMA clips

Have some AMA clips that is offline. Creating a new bin and link them again, but the clips in the origin bin do not get linked again. Is there any other method to do this?

What kind of files? Volume-based footage (like RED, XDCAM, P2) should work this way, but file-based media can be relinked directly.

Let us know what you're trying to do and we can help. Also the MC version would be helpful.

Those you should be able to use the Relink to Files... option when you right-click on the file.

    Re: relink AMA clips

I have a question on this topic-  Is there a trick to get Media Composer to relink a bunch of files from the same path, instead of individually relinking them?  In many applications, if you relink one clip the application will automatically relink the rest of the clips from that same path.  Can you do this in Avid?  I've just been making a new bin and re AMA importing all the clips.  Just wondering if there is a way to do this easily with Relink to Files...
