    Reverse Motion Effect Error

    DNx36 MXF clip transcoded from a 100fps R3d File.

The transcoded clip plays fine. When a -100 motion effect clip is appiled throug loadign the clip in the source monitr and choosing create and render, the clip play as expected in revers at the same speed.

When the Project is closed and then reopened the same clip will only play black, unless stopped in which case you can see the frame you are parked on.

It is as if the render has been lost.

    Any ideas.

    Re: Reverse Motion Effect Error

Are you sure where your renders are going for motion effects are going? Look under Media Creation.  It is possible they are going to a drive that Avid does not really like.  Just make sure that the renders are going to the same drive as your other media.
