    Mac Bluetooth Keyboard: Plus Sign

Just switched over from PC to Mac, bought a new iMac with the bluetooth keyboard. It's a notepad in layout meaning NO separate numeric pad. I'm trying to create a specific lenght to an edit, I used to do this by making an in point, hitting the plus sign, typing in the desired length (for example: five, zero, zero for five seconds) hit enter and then mark an out point. However the "plus" sign on the "Notepad" keyboard doesn't enable. Doesn't work with fn, control, option or command and I see nothing in the settings. Help?

    Hi,

double click ctrl twice : then the little white TC window appears.

then you can just enter the + from the keyboard wherever it is located.

mine is beside the "enter" key, but i think this is "german" keyboard only...

it should work. I had the same problem with a macbook pro ...editing without an external keyboard....

    kind regards peter

Just for accuracy that would result in a 5 sec and 1 frame duration, not 5 seconds. In case you didn't realise...

Can we go back to the way audio nodes used to be selected? Please? ie if you have audio nodes at the same time on selected tracks; then selecting 1 audio node selects them all at that time. Having to shift select nodes or add an in and out is time consuming and counter productive. At least make it an option.
