    Re-linking to re-transcoded files

Here's the set-up. Edited a project on the road using transcoded files onto a portable G-Raid drive. Got back to the edit suite and the G-Raid drive is died. The Avid project is fine but obviously no media files, everything offline. I transcoded the raw footage again and tried to relink to the new transcoded files but no go, everything is still offline. I can't seem to find anything that seems related to my issue here, any help would be appreciated.

Select all your newly transcoded clips in one bin or multiple then right click your edit sequence and relink to selected clips in any open bins should do the trick

Thanks. Tried it but nothing linked up. I even put my sequence in the same bin but nothing. Dang.

I assume these are the same original files?

So under the relink method channge the match type to filename etc

    Re: Re-linking to re-transcoded files

Tried that and still nothing. Here's the the thing that may be causing the problem. I noticed that the original AMA bins were not in the project when I opened it up on the main system. I created new AMA bins in order to transcode everything again. Could that be the issue? I'm going to check in the attic for an earlier version of the project and see if they exist there.
