    Too Good to Be True??: HP Performance Advisor for Avid MC

    This may belong in "off topic" area, but seemed appropriate question for this forum.  A "feature" HP provides with their ZBook workstation laptops qualified for Avid MC7 is called HP Performance Advisor.  Avid MC is one of programs specifically mentioned by HP that this feature works with.  Has anyone had experience with this HP Zbook feature when used with Avid MC7?

    Given MC's specific requirements my inclination would be to immediately disable this feature and just carefully read all the Avid documents on optimization of WIN and hardward (Nvidia for example) to work with MC.  However, if HP Performance Advisor does do what it says (see below) it sure would be nice. I understand there is a long standing cooperation with HP workstations and Avid so perhaps it has generated this helpful tool. 

    Here is what HP says about this tool:
