    ADM_PLAY_NOT_ARMED

    Hello.

I started getting this error a few weeks ago.

    I'm running MC 7.0.3 on a Dell T7600 with Win 7 64bit, woth Matrox MXO 2 mini. MC 7.0.3

After the first installation of the MC 7.0 all worked fine,

but a few weeks ago I started getting this error messege when trying to play clips in software mode.

When I switch back to H/W mode - all works well (exept that MC works a lot slower in this mode...)

From what I read here - still no solution!!

Seems to my like it's related to the computer sound hardware of something.

I tried updating the realtek drivers, updating the Matrox drivers, reinstalling MC - nothing helps.

    someone has anything on this???

Although it sounds like you've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps already, here are some suggestions from the Knowledge Base in case there are any more you haven't done:

    Re: ADM_PLAY_NOT_ARMED

    Thanks for the quick reply.

now you are going to hear something wierd:

If I play a video only clip in the source monitor- S/W mode works fine.

If right after playing the video only clip I load an Audio only clip (WAV file for example) to the source monitor - it also plays fine.

If right after doing this I go to a regular (Audio and Video) sequence and play it - it actually works!

and here comes the freaky part - If I try to do anything not in this EXACT order- I get the ADM_PLAY_NOT_ARMED error...

    What the hell??

    Re: ADM_PLAY_NOT_ARMED

disabling the device in devive manager is a decent workaround.

i have the same sympton with mojo DX, wouldn't call it an issue.
