Monitoring 12 tracks of audio from Avid using Nitris DX box

I'd like to be able to route 12 tracks of audio to a digital mixer (01V) from the Avid, in order to do spot checks on discrete tracks.

I know you can get 12 tracks outputting through embedded HD - SDI, but i would require a deck at all times to perform the D/A conversion, which i won't have access to.

I know the Nitris DX box has 8 channels of audio out via AES, and 8 via ADAT, and 4 via analogue - but is the max simultaneous monitoring 8 tracks only? Or is there a way to configure it so that for example tracks 1-4 are outputted via analogue, and tracks 5-12 are outputted via either AES or ADAT?

    Many thanks
