    Why is AVID so sensitive?

Trying to export a sequence keep getting "EXCEPTION CORE consistency check failure" using Media composer 7.

After much fooling around including exporting using soreneson and quicktime, going from AMA to import, rebooting, trimming the clip in quicktime and save as a new name and importing that clip.

None of this worked. So I dusted off my antique copy of FCP7 and imported the original QT prores clips into FC. Final Cut didn't have any problems exporting this clip.

I can't see any problem with the clip. I will try to isolate the bad frame(s). If it is a bad frame, It would be very sweet if Avid would tell me which frame it has a problem with.
