Avid FX only shows a still picture

I have clips in V1 and V2. Then I add a Avid FX Filter on V2 and open the user interface.

In the composite window I can ony see a still movie. This is also true if I delete V1 or V2 in the FX timeline. But the movement of texts and so on can be seen. Also the rendered file is ok.

I tried to play with open GL, I also deinstalled FX and reinstalled it. I also went back to MC 6.0.3.2. No difference. My computer is powerful enough (i5-2500K and 16GB).

Does anyone have had a similar problem and coud fix it?

Win 7 Prof 64bit, MC 6.0.3.3 and Avid FX 6.2.0.0.257.

Under the "Preview" menu, "Image" submenu, make sure "Update Source" is enabled (maybe somehow that got disabled).
