Saving new projects in Avid Studio

I've been trying to save any project that I have been worrking on so I can come back to it at a later time and make more edits if necessary. As soon as I open a new project I go to 'save as' and name the project and save it on my D: . When I chcek the folder that it is saved it there is nothing there. My colleague does exactly the same as me but when he checks the folder he has the new project saved and can continue with his edits. I am currently exporting the file when I finish but cannot reopen the project to make any new edits and have to start over again if they are needed.

    Hope someone can help. Thanks

These boards are for the Media Composer and Symphony product line. You'll find the Avid Studio Forums here.
