Avid to XDCAM 50mbit OP1a (several sequences at once possible?)

I am trying to find a way to export more than 1 timeline to MXF XDCAM 50mbit OP1a, preferrably just highlight all the sequences I have in a bin and somehow export them to my set destination.

So far I havent found any way to do this - only way I know about is to export to device, then choose XDCAM and the "virtual" XDCAM disk I have made on the computer. This only exports the open sequence though, and it would save us a ton of time if we could set Avid to export all sequences over the night before we go home for the day.

For reference, the bins we want exported always contain 5 episodes which are each around 23 minutes long.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance:)

What version of MC are you using?

Since version 6 is direct export to MXF OP1 (XDCAM).

Without the need for a virtual disk. It works as well as export QT.

Yeah, using 6.0.3, and I feel stupid for not have tried this yet. I was told QuickTime slightly changes the gamma or something (out of my knowledge), but found a Sorenson Squeeze template that allowed me to change the settings to XDCAM 50mbits OP1a which seems to work :) If you know any disadvantages with this method please let me know though, but seems fine by the looks of it at least :)

    Thanks!

You can export directly from MC.

Export / option / select XDCAM MXF OP1 - select the desired quality.
