    Help with title tool crop

    Hey Guys

I have searched everywhere for this and it seems like this would be an easy thing to do but I cant figure it out.

I have lower third graphics as MOV's from a client. He wants me to have names appear on them. I was thinking a normal crop right to left to expose the name would be great but the lower third has a slanted shape in the end  /

is there any way I can manipulate the crop so the characters name comes out of crop via the slanted shape as opposed to just a regular rectengular crop out?

    does this make sense?

You might have to use Animatte then.  You can animate any shape you want, as crops are just rectangles.

I tried with the animatte ... but how can I make the animatte shape clear so I can see the lower third behind it?

I have only managed to make it a solid color
