    Keyboard only editing - avid

I have searched all over google and found nothing so any help would be appreciated. I'm a big fan of keyboard only editing. I wanted to know if there is a way to select clips with the segment mode tool and move them up and down tracks using the keyboard only. If so how do I map it?

Not as far as I know. The closest you can come is command (or shift?) dragging up and down. If someone else has a solution I'd very much be interested too.

Not really, but if your issue is horizontal "drift" of a clip when moving up or down, hold down CTRL + SHIFT (CMD + SHIFT on a Mac) when dragging clips up or down and that will constrain them vertically - no horizontal movement.

Unfortunately, no. Put in a feature request... but don't hold your breath :-(
