I have a number of clips on V1 and V2 and I'd like to do a split screen among them. After collapsing the clips together on their individual tracks, when I go to apply 3D Warp or PiP on top of that, Avid tells me "Effect does not apply." But I'm pretty sure I've done this before, and I've read here on the forums of people successfully doing just that. I can't figure out the missing variable... Help?!
Hi,
Press and hold OPT and then click and drag a PiP or 3d Warp onto the collapsed clip.
ciao,Carl

Weird thing is I had done that as well, several times, as I often would when nesting effects... But after a restart, now it works. ?! Potential bug, or maybe I was just out of it? Who knows.
Thanks Carl.
