Over a year ago I moved from liquid to MC5. I don't like the I/O device I have now (Canopus) and want to know what I/O device I need to make MC5 work correctly/ faster? We also need to start adding closed-captioning to our weekly one-hour church broadcast and understand the right I/O device enhances this performance, too.
Thanks!
Chris
Currently, Avid supports in own line of I/O devices (Mojo, Mojo SDI, Mojo DX, Nitris DX) and a couple of 3rd-party cards (Matrox, AJA I/O Express). Each has it's own advantages and disadvantages, and there is a wide difference in cost.
If you're not in hurry...I'd suggest waiting a bit. Avid has an announcement coming Thursday.

OK. Keep in the loop by sending me the announcement link.
Any suggestions of where to start in order to become FCC compliant for closed captioning?
