    Gray audio channels

    Hi,

    Sometimes some audio channels in Avid Media Composer 5 turns gray stops working.. Can anyone tell me why that is?

    There was an issue a while back where deleting an audio track and then immediately undoing the delete resulted in the track being disabled. In any event, to re-enable an audio track, first click on the triangle icon next to the timecode display in the upper left of the timeline window to reveal the enhanced audio controls, then click on the button that looks like a power icon (circle with a vertical line in it).

    I did not delete tracks, but I had to move a project from MC 5.5 to 8.1 for PluralEyes usage with 8 video tracks and 24 audio tracks, and this did do the trick.
