H.264 Canon files and MC5 used to create Dubai time lapse

    Hi everyone,

I recently visited Dubai and got the chance to use MC5 to create a time lapse of Dubai mixed with some HD footage, hope you like it!

I shot and did all of the time lapse photography using the Canon 7D and the Canon 24-105 L series lens.

    Thanks,

    Richard.

    Very nice Richard.

How was the slow zoon in done? did you do the zoom while timelapse capturing or in the edit?

    Hi Pat,

These are done in post, although the Atlanta one (http://www.vimeo.com/21808085) has some done in camera too...

I'm gearing up to get a motorised camera slider, or add a motor to the manual slider I built recently.

    Thanks,

    Richard.

    Hi Richard,

I'm about to embark on a similar project and wondering the best way to create a time lapse sequence from the RAW HDR files.  Did you just import them directly into MC5 or use another program like After Effects to create a time lapse mov first?

    Thanks!
