    Symphony Nitris 8200 Spontaneous Reboot

    Hi,

I have an 8200 Nitris Symphony Running 4.05 - This machine was an older dual boot DS system that has now had DS stripped out of it.  We are also running ethernet to the unity (MN5) as we're only using this to cut at offline res (well EX3 35mbs).

The problem we're having is that the machine will just suddenly reboot while working, any pointers on where to look first?

    Many thanks,

    Paul

Over-heating? Bad memory chip(s)? I assume that the system used to work fine, any hardware/software cahnge? You can google for memtest, burn it to CD and run it overnight or whenever the computer is not busy to check if there's a faulty memory module.
