    Mixing frame rates in MC4

I've seen the turtorial of pulling different frame rates into your sequence.   No issues with that.  I'm having a problem importing.

I'm working on a big project that is 1080p 23.98.  I've just received some files that are 29.97.  When I import them Avid seems to be converting them to 23.98 on its own thus dropping frames and causing steppy playback.  Am I supposed to bring these 29.97 quicktime into their own project then open that bin in my 23.98 project?

Or am I missing a step in the new AVID.

    Any help is welcome.

    Thanks!
