    NitrisDX I/O

I am having problems getting the documentation form the knowledge base.  Are the HDSDI A/B outputs on the NitrisDX for dual link?  Or, are those multiple outputs/inputs?  I am concerned that the box only has one HDSDI output.  Also, just need to verify that the 2 ref spigots on the back are for loop through.  If I want to send tri-levl and NTSC sync, I have to add a switch or manually swap the cabling.  Thanks, jdw

The second (B) HDSDI out works but the input does not. The reference is loop through. I have to manually swap cables for Tri-level and NTSC.

I don't work with a second ref signal for now, but I always thought that you could choose between the two refs in the video output settings (internal, loop through, Ref1 or Ref2)

    Am I wrong?

Thanks Abeyta, just to be certain, when in an HD project, the NitrisDX outputs from HDSDI A and B and SDI simultaneously?

EDIT--Just got my hands on a NitirsDX.  HDSDI A anad B output simultaneously while in an HD project.  SDI only outputs when the format is SD--and vice versa.

    Nitris DX have two generation.
First generation have single input, loop through.
Second generation have multiple input ,available Tri-level and BB both.
You can find detailed information in v4.03 ReadMe ,p68

    Re: NitrisDX I/O

Thanks for clarifying that. I was not aware of 2 different DX boxes. I purchased my DX in June 08 so I have a first Gen.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but there is a built in downconvert for HD project. You need to activate it in the Video Output settings.
