    AAF export fails

    Hi

I`m really having big problems with exporting AAF list to Vizrt. This problem only occures when I try to export HD material. Any SD material works fine, but when exporting from an HD project (DVCPRO HD, 1080i/50) it fails. It only works when footage AND project is native DVCPRO HD. If i need to transcode to DVCPRO HD or XDCAM HD it fails ! Any ideas ?

Vizrt only accepts DVPRO HD (DV 100) and IMX 30/50, MXF wrapped. But it seems that Avid can`t deliver a proper AAF list for Vizrt to understand !

    Re: AAF export fails

    Hi

Thanks for quick response Smile We use the ArdeX plugin, exports go through Unity Engine on an Ardome partition on the Unity. So we don`t use the NLE plugin.

But still, it seems like the AAF gets corrupt during export from Avid. It seems like the transcoding I have to do to get Vizrt to accept the format corrupts the AAF.

    Re: AAF export fails

    Hi

So, Iv`ve found a workaround, video and audio mixdown solved the problem. After doing that the AAF i s simple enough for Avid to write. But I guess there`s a bug in Avid, not beeing able to write in the transcoded files, when more than one, to AAF. OR ? Any other suggestions ?
