MC 4.02 and Buggy Rolling Trim Tool

We are experiencing a very troublesome error when using "Rolling Trim" in 4.02.  I was wondering if anyone here could reproduce it in a 24P or 30i project.

Our 24P film project. (3 hr rough cut) plays normally (and trims normally) until the "Rolling Trim" function is invoked.  (Using JKL buttons in trim mode)

Rolling Trim stutters badly then tosses up a "Structured Exception, ExceptionCode:0xc0000005, ExceptionString:ACCESS_VIOLATION" error.  It happens whenever you trim while monitoring any combo of audio and video tracks together.

Media is all DNxHD36 and the 24P project originated in from a V2.6 MCA PC.

Creating new user settings/project settings/project folders and sequences did not fix the error.

When we move the same media drives and project to a 2.7 MCA PC, it trims just fine.
Put it on a different MCAHD 4.02 and the error returns.

It sure looks like a bug.

Is Rolling Trim giving you headaches too?

We could not get it to resolve on this XW8000 after software reinstall and much tweaking.

So we did the next best thing and chopped off the editors 2 middle fingers.  He can no longer JKL trim.

    Onward to other errors,..

Did you remember to adjust all the other fingers that were affected by the removal of those two?
