    HD files into Avid

    Hey Everyone.

We are currently in a telecine of some 16mm film which is about to be transfered to SD tape and HD files. Our problem is deciding what is the best codec or file type to get our HD footage transfered to. We do not have a HD tape machine so having files is the best for us.

We have done a HD show before but that was in FCP and we had our files converted to ProRes. What would you suggest to get these transfered to import into Media Composer?

    Most appreciated

DNxHD is the codec you want to use (the codec that made Apple make ProRes)
