    Will 1.8 Ghz work?

It's not a qualified workstation, but has anyone had any luck running Express Pro (any version) on an IMac G5 1.8 GHz w/OS 10.4.10? I've got 1.5 g of memory.

You'd need to run the current release with that OS version so make sure your graphics card is qualified (128 MB of RAM supports Core Image and Quartz Extreme). You might need more RAM if you have a Mojo and doing HD may be "challenged".

Here's the rig I have at home: 1.8 GHz PowerPC G5/3.5 GB DDR SDRAM/OS 10.4.9/ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256mb AXP 5.7.7 w/Mojo. It still works really well for DV stuff. HDV not so quick. As Hbrock says, Video card and more RAM is recommended.
